Colonial Art Glass Company Grape Table Lamp

This is a firm that was located in Chicago and competed with Suess and Chicago Mosaic. It is about 26 inches tall, with a shade diameter just shy of 20 inches. The shade is 12 inches high. The backdrop is heavily mottled amber that turns to orange when dimmed. The body of the lamp has red and purple grapes with green and red leaves. The border features more grapes of blue, red, and yellow tones, with multi-colored leafage.

The base features the swirling design on the platform, unique to Colonial. It has a rich, brown patina. The cap is hand-formed and original. It has four Bryant switched sockets.
