Duffner and Kimberly Trumpet Vine Chandelier

Early 20th century. The cone shape shade with turquoise colored tile above an undulating brown trumpet vine with leaves in various shades of green and brilliant red blossoms with rippled green and creamy opalescent centers, suspended by a verde gras patinated bronze chain with bell form mounted and six spoked outlet. Signed with embossed and enameled bronze tag. (See detail 2) Diameter 28". ;PROVENANCE ;Lucille "Aunt Bea" Baeman, Mequon, Wisconsin, since 1969.;Visitors to the poular Baeman Fruit Ranch in Mequon, Wisconsin have for years admired the offered Kimberly Duffner lamp, which was prominently displayed at the ranch. Over the ensuing four decades the Baeman's received literally hundreds of inquiries and offers from dealers far away who had heard of a wonderful lamp tucked away in a rural Wisconsin fruit farm Eventually the lamp took an a loreof its own so to speak and subsequently became one of the main idetifying features of the Baeman's fruit business. Jackson's is pleased to offer this fine treasure known to may a dealer and collector who exhausted a good amount of time and effort hunting down the lamp only to hear Lucille say "sorry its not for sale".
