Duffner & Kimberly Pompeian Table Lamp
One of the early Duffner designs. The shade is over 16” in diameter and 6” tall. The base is 21” high.
The body of the shade features a geometric series of green vertical bands, like umbrella staves, above an irregular border banded by representational flowers and leaves. Lots of fire in some of the glass. There may be a few cracks in the border leaves, but they may just be lines in the heavily striated glass. The base is in the very dark brown color. It is the elegant style made for the Pompeian. The sockets are raised-letter Hubbells. The pulls are acorn.
