Ed. This is a second example of another that was previously attributed to Suess. This is clearly a work in progress as sadly, the ring had previously been removed by a previous owner. The original aperture ring may have offered a better clue as to its maker, espcially if it had a small 1 13/16" aperture found on shades produced at Amboy Works, in New Jersey. Several shades sporting Egyptian revival motifs have appeared from several makers, Amboy being one.
