Handel Tulip Hanging Shade

This very early, 20th-century American company hand made Arts & Crafts era leaded slag glass hanging shade measures 10 inches x 10 inches. It has overlapping bent glass sections in mixed shades of rose, white and cranberry with the smooth glass being textured on the inside, to feature a unique floral form. When held up to light, this attractive shade has a rich multicolor look and warmth.

The Handel Company mark is on the inside rim. I was advised that Handel sold this as a single ceiling fixture that would have been mounted with a fitter and chain. Fitter opening is just under 3 1/4 " at 3.23" (82.05 mm).
