Floral Pattern Table Lamp, Attributed to Gorham

Ed. Large and imposing table lamp. Features a 24" diameter leaded glass shade on a bronze tree trunk base. Black patina throughout both the shade and base. Several notes of interest include a 2 piece bronze cap with a berry and leaf design. Cast in 2 pieces: a circular plate that spans the aperture, and the berry and leaf motif which is secured to the plate with 3 screws. There are several leaf stems which have exagerated, prominent lead lines, these can be seen running from the cap and also from leaves around the skirt. This example has flowers rendered in granite textured glass. 27 1/2" tall.
