Duffner and Kimberly Lily Border on Suess Base

Leaded glass shade on a patinated bronze base, unmarked. Height 22 3/4 inches; Diameter of shade 22 1/2 inches. The base is by Suess Ornamental and shade is Duffner & Kimberly.

Ed. This particular shade has a ring size of 3 3/8" and appears in the later, post 1906 Duffner & Kimberly catalog. Similar shades of this pattern with a ring size of 2 7/8" would have attributed this as a J.A. Whaley, a maker which on occasion featured designs very similar to those of Duffner and Kimberly.
