Amboy Works Shell / Fan Pattern Chandelier Lamp

Measures 18" diameter and stands 23" tall. The shade resembles a clam shell with an art nouveau flare. The shade is in good condition with no glass replaced. There are approximately 12 cracks to the glass with none loose or missing. Mostly done with a rough, granite backed glass so it really fires when lit. The casting on the base is bronze. It has wonderful detail. The finish of the base is original and done in a warm bronze. The shade has remnants of the original matching patina but has worn to a darker color now.

Ed. Amboy produced many fan / shell style lamps. The grape motif base was also made by Amboy in their brass foundry on King Street in Amboy New Jersey. I could not find or credit the original poster of this lamp, but found it later on Worthpoint.
