H. G. Cleaveland Bent Glass Shade

14 in. dia. shade has a slightly translucent caramel slag glass staggered brick background, lower border with long overlapping green leaves reaching up and bending at the shoulder, 4 large open orange crocus flowers over 8 closed white opaque crocus flowers; has a pierced filigree bronze heat cap

Ed. This is the second exaple of this lamp that has surfaced. This one has been separated from its orininal base. Cleaveland was a Boston Metals maker and it's likely that he made only the bronze bases for some lamps. However, the shade is high quality and skilled hands made it. The other complete example is here.
